SMOTHERED IN SLEEP
A Maori infant, John Kati, aged three weeks, was found dead in Ibed at the home of its parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peih-ma Kati, of Warahoe. An inquest was held before the Thames district coroner, Mr. W. Bongard, who returned a verdict of accidental death is a result of being smothered during sleep.
