Mr. R. D. Thomson has been appointed manager of the D.I.C. in Wellington, and Mr. S. M. Burnside has been appointed assistant-manager of the same branch of the firm.
Mr. .1. L. Robson, formerly a student of Victoria College, Wellington, and at present on leave from the Public Trust Office, has been awarded a Doctorate of Philosophy by the University of London
Messrs. Lawson Field, W. F. Metcalfe and L. IL Maclean returned from Wellington on Saturday after attending the annual meeting of the New Zealand Sheepow.iors’ Federation in Wellington.
