High School .. 3 Marist juniors could not do anything wrong in their engagement with High School on Saturday, and they gave a dazzling display of fast Rugby, marked by magnificent passing and model supporting movements. Compared with their form of the previous week, when they were quickly hustled into defeat by Celtic, Marist were going like champions, anct they trounced High School to the tune of 49 points to 3. Admittedly, the School team was weak, lacking the services of Toroa and others, prominent in the previous week’s collegiate game. But they would have had to rise to a standard higher than any they have shown this year to extend Marist. Their defence was completely riddled, and only once did they take hold of the game and cross the Marist line. Scorers for the Marist were Quinn, two tries. Friar, two tries, F. Lee, S. Lee, Owen, Cleary, Rob. Thomson, and N. Malcon, one try each, Ray Thomson, two field goals, Owen, a penalty goal, and S. Lee, four conversions.

The High School points were from a try by Stewart, who improved on an opening made by Whannga.
