In connection with the above series, the Burke Cup, awarded to the player with the best aggregate score for the three rounds, was won by E. S. Toogoed, 74. 77, 80, 231. Last year this trophy was won by F. Fenwick, with a score of 77, 78. 75, 230. Fenwick, whose golf this year has suffered by reason of his illness, failed to qualify this year.

A July Tankard medal round for players with a handicap of 15 and under was won by H. D. Chrisp, 71, (19, 75, 215, a similar trophy for players with a handicap of 16 and over being won by 1. O'Meara. 71, 62, 77, 210. A cumulative four-ball bogey match resulted as follows: R'. I. Harrison and D. B. Barry, F. Fenwick and D. McIldowie, 4 down; M. Brownlie and D. W. McKeague, 6 down; C. O. Hansen and A. R. Mitford, A. F. Salmon and K. W. Bull. 7 down; A. Guy and R. Goodwin, 10 down. The final of the King’s Birthday tournament was played, If. D. Chrisp beating W. J. Melldowie, 3 and 1. In the final of the 'Reynolds Cup McIldowie, beat J. T. Dodgshun, 2 and 1. PARK CLUB Results in the second round of the President’s Cup series played at the Park Golf Club’s links during the week-end are as follows: L. Albrecht cl. G. Ardern, at the twentieth; J. StableforA Competition A Sfableford competition played in conjunction with the President’s Cup was won by A. S. Fearnley on the recount from A. D. Tarr, 'both with 33. Other good cards were: G. Montgomery, 32; J. Malcohnson, 32; T. W. Bavliss, 30; P. 11. Dow, 30; R. Clayton, 30. Dryland Cup After six successive wins A. D. Tarr and F. McDonald went down to R. T. Porter and M. Ludwig, 3 and 1. Ludwig played good golf. TURANGAXUICLUB Under ideal playing conditions, the third and final round of the William T. Pi tit Memorial (mixed foursomes medal 'Handicap) and also of the Men’s Handicap competition were completed on Saturday at the Turanganui Golf Club’s course. In the Cup competition, Mrs. R. Robb and C. Pcre, off a 12 handicap, emerged the winners and will be the holders of the trophy for the ensuing 12 months, their net aggregate score being 214, composed of net rounds of 71. 71. and 72. Consistency was the keynote of their game. The runnersup were Mrs. N. Cram and P. Kaua, handicap 17, with an aggregate net score of 218, with rounds of 70, 78. and 70. Although several pairs have still to complete their final round, no alteration to the result is expected. In the Men’s Handicap competition (lie matches resulted as follows:—N. G. Anderson beat W. Anderson, 4 and 3; T.--Muir beat N. G. Anderson at. the twenty-first; 1 J. McConnell beat J. McMurny at the twentieth.

The final was played over the week-end betwen T. Muir and J. McConnell, when, after a closelycontested match, T. Muir emerged tiie winner by 2 and 1.

A men's Slableford competition resulted in a win for W. Marshall (12) with a score of 34, followed by N. G. Anderson with a score of 33. Next Saturday a ladies and men’s four-ball bogey handicap will be played.
