MONEY FOR STRIKERS

FERTILISER WORKERS £25 FROM LABOURERS (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The sum of £25 is to be forwarded by the national council of the General Labourers’ Federation to the Otaluihu fertiliser workers who are on strike. The decision was made by the council without a request, and ihc secretary states that if any more is required it will be sent. “We think the men at Otahuhu have had a rough spin,” said the secretary, "and that if more attention were given to the claims ef the men and less to the claims of the employers there would be fewer disputes. This is causing quite lot of discontent, and discontent is pretty general at the moment.”
