MOTORIST SENT TO GAOL
DEATH OF A CYCLIST BARRED FROM DRIVING (Per Press Association.) NELSON, this day. Jo'hn Leonard Hall, a young man, who was found guilty in the Supreme Court of negligent driving, causing the death of a cyclist, was sentenced to two months' imprisonment and was disqualified from driving for live years.
Mr. Justice Northcroft said there was .nothing vicious in the case but, like a great many motorists, principally young but also many older ones, the accused had driven irresponsibly without duo regard to the rights of others.
