Favours for Foreigners

Sir, —“N.Z. Bred” is dissatisfied with the favours shown to Germany. I am afraid that most of our Labour Ministers have at times shown a fondness for England's, enemies. Only a few years ago when the Russians were seeking 'to engulf the world, they were great friends of Russia. Wc have given the Germans ■more favourable trading conditions by far than, we have given to England. Mr. Langs tone is in Berlin now. Mr. Nash seems to have had a better reception in Dublin than in London. No doubt the Sinn Feiners greet heartily his disparaging reference to the "British Empire” but all this seems very poor propaganda when we were drying to cajole a loan ■-iiit of the “financial gangsters” in Britain. ANOTHER N.Z. BRED.
