happy birthday party (Herald Correspondent.) Mrs. T. Brown, Waitangirua. was the hostess at a very happy party he.c at her home on Saturday in honour of her birthday. The living-room, where tea was served, was gay with coloured streamers, and iarge bowk of spring buibs, and the large draw-ing-room, which had been cleared foi dancing, was also artistically arranged with butbs and a bowl of daphne.
The young folk present had a joi.j ,:c .earning the Park Parade, the a.est dancing craze, the music being played by Miss Una Reed on the j.anc-accordion.
A delicious supper was served b;> lie hostess, who wore a frock of _undon tan dull finished satin. Amongst those present were Mr ~,id Mrs. Gregor vViison; Misses Ai . isher, J. Boys, U. Reed, and J. fvvistleton; Messrs. H. and J. Barly. , Castles,' G. Carnahan, R. and T. .vistieton, R. F. Jackson, and N. ,-lcLean (Okaihau). Mr, and Mrs. P. Clark, Sandy Bay, Nelson, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. J Reed, Fraser road. Mo tu.
