SOCCER TRIALS
THIS WEEK’S GAMES HAWKE’S BAY VISIT The Poverty Bay Football Association's selection committee has nominated Possible v. Probable teams for a trial next Saturday, with a view to completing the selection of the team which will represent Poverty Bay against Hawke’s Bay the following week. The teams for Saturday are as under: —
Possibles (to play in blue).—Goalkeeper, C. Mulrooney; lull-backs, J. Watt and ,J. Wilson; half-backs, J. Houghton, W. liall, and R. Johnston; forwards, J. Burns, A. Jarvie, E. Bridge, A. Waugh, and M. Mulrooney. Probables do play in maroon). — Goalkeeper, L. Williamson; full-backs, D. Elliott and W. Appleby; halfbacks, J. Crawford, D. Miller, and T. Normington; forwards, A. Easton, W. McGrory, J. Barbour, L. Branson and J. Dunsmore. In order to give other senior players an opportunity to get a game, the executive of the association has arranged for a match between Territorials and The Rest. The latter team will comprise J.
