THE LABOUR GOVERNMENT UNIVERSITY DEBATE (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A debate was he Id under the auspices of the Victoria College Debating Society last night between Dr. D. G. McMillan (Government) and Mr. S. G. Holland (Opposition) on the subject that the Labour Government merits the continued confidence of the people of New Zealand. The vote of the audience and students .combined, totalling 350, was ip favour of the motion. On the students' vote alone, the motion was carried by 100 votes to 81.
