FARMERS AND WIVES UP TO 500 PLANNED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Between 400 and 500 farmers and members of the Women’s Division of the Farmers' Union intended to march to Parliament. House this afternoon and wait on the deputy Prime Minister, the lion. P. Fraser, and the Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. W. Lee Martin. One hundred of the deputation would .'be delegates attending the annual conference o,f the New Zealand Farmers' Union, and tire remainder delegates attending the annual conference of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union.
