Phe plot concerns chiefly Hilary .Fairfield, a victim of shell-shock who for Hi years has been confined to a mental hospital; his wiie. Margaret, who has obtained a divorce on the grounds that Hilary’s case is rneunvole; and Gray Meredith, to whom ‘Margaret proposes to be re-married. Hilary escapes from the mental home on the eve of his proposed release—his case having made a remarkable recovery. The unmarried aunt of Hilary Fairfield, Ins • daughter Sydney and her friend, the son of the village rector, the rector himself and the family doctor, and a housemaid provide the subsidiary characters in the play. Miss Ellen Millar is again producer for the society, and the following members take .pat is in the production: Mesdamcs W. A. Bowie and Wilfrid Kuhn. Misses Valerie Cox and B. Jack. Messrs. Wilfrid Kohn, A. .1. INicol. K. Logan, C. Allen and J. W. Fergic. The nox plan is at Tattersall and BnylyV.
