Preston Foster, Irenj* Hervev and Krank .leaks are the stars in "Society Smugglers." —To-morrow: Hopalong Cassidy in “Silver on the Sage” and Charlie Buggies in “Sudden Money"— William Boyd, as the fearless "Hepa,long Cassidy." gets the toughest assignment of his adventurepacked career when a rustling-king and his twin brother work together tv beat nut the boys from "Bar 20" in Paramouni's "Silver on ihe Sage," ope.nir.-g to-morrow at the Majestic Theatre. The mysterious Had’: of o herd guarded by "Bar 20" and the imprisonment of his pal Russell Hayden on a tiumped-up murder charge sen dr. Boyd into aciton against, the outlaws, who use gambling tricks, spies, terror and murder to carry out their plans. Boyd, who can outtrick the cleverest card-sharps and cut-shoot the boldest killers, proves more than a match tor them. Woven into the Clarence E. Mulford action plot is a high-geared romance between Hayden, who plays Boyd's loyal saddlemate, and lovely Ruth Rogers, who is cast as the daughter of a murdered Arizona cattle baron. "Sudden Money" in the form of a sweepstakes fortune hits a typical modern family and causes a million-dollar riot in the new Paramount comedy. “Sudden Money," which is the associate feature. Charlie Ruggles, a harassed clerk whose youthful ambition was to have an orchestra, plays the sweep:-takes millionaire, while Marjorie Rnmbeau will be seen as the wife who gives up her good cooking for bad painting when her husband strikes it rich. Broderick Crawford, a.- a horse-race "fan" with a foolproof system, Evelyn Keyes, as a
daughter with great social ambitions, and Charles Grapevvin, as the giar.cUather who grins and bears-it, and other members of the madcap family. In addition there will be a Betty Hoop comedy and chapter 8 ol "Scouts to the Rescue."
