He replied: "No. 1 would refer the hon member to the answer which Mr. Chamberlain gave on May 1 in which he stated that Britain, while attaching the greatest importance to the principle of Balkan unity, considered these questions must be primarily settled .by negotiation? between the countries concerned.”
