TOLD TO QUIT TYROL

FOREIGN NATIONALS

COMBINED PROTEST (Reed. July 12, 9 a.m.) LONDON, July 10. The Rome .correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says that .a totally unexpected order, given to English, French, Dutch and Swiss residents in the Tyrol to evacuate within- 48 hours, is probably a sequel to the de-Ger-manisation of the area.

It is understood that 12 English, lti French, 100 Dutch and an unknown number of Swiss are affected. Americans may be involved. British nationals have appealed to the consulate. It is understood* that a collective demarche from the countries concerned is likely. Italian diplomatic quarters are silent.
