AIRCRAFT AND PILOTS (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. July 12, 9 a.m.) LONDON, July 10. The official report on civil aviadon for 1938 says that the registered aircraft throughout the Empire rose 'rom 3197 to 3260, the commercial pilots from 1955 to 2200, private pilots from 7552 to 8700 and ground ngineers from 2961 and 3500.
