NOVEL SHOOT

KOPUAWHARA RIFLE CLUB MEN REPRESENT LADIES (Herald Correspondent.) A novel type of shoot was staged fay the Kopuawhara Miniature Rifle Club recently when the ladies of the camp were given the privilege of nominating any member of the club to shoot on their behalf. The trophy at stake was a beautiful salad bowl, which was won •by A. Brodie, shooting on behalf of Miss D. Worsfold. The contest proved remarkable in that when the handicaps were added to the scores there were no fewer than 13 competitors who had the same total. In the shoot-ofr after rehandicapping six were again level, so it was necessary for them to face the targets again. This time A. Brodie gained the lead. The lady club members shot particularly well.
