Meteorological Instruments

The collection of meteorological instruments at Ithe Darton Field weather station is to be added to by the installation of an anemometer to measure the force of the wind. Work on the installation is being carried out, 'but, apart from this, the station already has instruments for .the recording of the barometric pressure, air and earth temperatures, humidity, rain and hours of sunshine. Other work in progress at the aerodrome is the resurfacing of several acres at the south-eastern corner of the field
