OPOTIKI STOCK SALE GOOD EAT COW QUALITY At the monthly stock sale in Opotiki, no sheen were yarded and only an average number of cattle came forward. Conspicuous in the yarding were several pens of exceptionally wellfinished beef cattle, which sold to £lO 10s for bullocks and £8 2s for cows. The cows were probably the most prime cows ever to have been yarded at the Opotiki -salcyards. Other fat cows made from £0 5s to £7 10s; lighter cows, £4 15s to £5 !2s Gd; store cows, £2 10s to £3; good boners, 30s to £2 7s lid; others, £1 to 27s Gd. A line of 53 Hereford steers in good order and showing good quality made £0 2s fid.
