SHIPS STEWARD RESCUED
FOUR HOURS IN SEA INCIDENT OFF SINGAPORE COLOMBO, June 6. After being afloat in the sea for four hours, a steward who had fallen overboard was rescued by the captain of a liner -while en route to Colombo from Singapore. The rescued man was cleaning -brasawork near a porthole soon af*cr the vessel left Singapore, when he fell overboard. His absence was noticed an hour later and the ship’s course was retraced. Eventually he was sighted struggling to keep himself afloat, and was picked up.
