FIRST SOCCER TEST PALESTINE DEFEATED (Rccd. July 10, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 9. In the first soccer test match on Saturday, Australia defeated Palestine by 7 goals to 5. Australian led G —l at half-time. Palestine came with a great rush in the second spell, but the Australians held them off by superior footwork and better combination. There were 23,000 spectators.
