BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS RECORD SET IN RUN (EJec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. July 10, 9 a.m.) LONDON, July 7. At tiie British athletic championships at White City, the mile resulted;— S. C. Wooderson, 1; Pell, 2; Collyer, 3. The time, 4min 11 l-Bsec is a championship record despite the rain. Wooderson won by lj yards, with 12 yards between the second and third men. Pell was overtaken 25 yards from tile tape.
