He was last away, but moved up swiftly and was in front a mile and a half from home. He cleared right away and won easily by five lengths, with Wakerifc three lengths away, third. Time. 6.15?. The fancied candidates, Dcckard and C-rantley, fell. W. Burke’s stable trained the winners of the Grand National double, including Green Cape last Saturday. Doutt.a Galki Hurdle Race, of £500: 2! miles. —Green Cape, 10.13 (Dummett), 1; Cheery Jack, 1C.5 (Windlc), 2: Capo Race, 10.1 (Sweetman), 3. Five started. Cherry Jack actually won by half a head, but was placed second on a successful protest.
