Hore-Belis'ha, in n speech at a dinner given by the Franeo-British Association, stressed the unity between Britain and France. “Let the world know that our two countries understand .the nature of the challenge offered us and we will meet it, that we have no military secret from one -another, that we live a-s comrades and that as such, if need be, we shall die,” he said. “There is no longer a British policy or a French policy but a Franeo-British policy. “England can say to France, as France to England: ‘We have thought the. same way. We have reached the same conclusions and cherish the same ideals. We -are friends. We are strong and shall stand together’."
