COLD SNAP IN MANAWATU
SNOW AT LOW LEVEL (Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N„ this day. Barometic pressure in the city and district during the past few days has been abnormally low, but no squally weather has been experienced Bitterly -cold conditions prevail, however. Six degrees of frost were recorded overnight and snow was falling this morning on the hills near the city.
