INCREASE IN REVENUE
BRITISH EXCHEQUER (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9 a,m. RUGBY, July 5. The Exchequer returns show that the total ordinary revenue is £144,056,?77, compared with £131,886,636 at the corresponding period last year. The total expenditure, less self-balancing items, is £281,137,248, compared with £234,948,58-1 at -the corresponding date of last year.
