LINER RANOITIKI The Gisborne office of the New Zealand Shipping Company announced to-day that the-liner Rangitiki, which' was Ito- load here from July 17 to 19, would not be calling at this pout. It was explained' that owing to quota restrictions on the export of mutton and lamb the available freight for London was insufficient to warrant the ship calling at this port. According to the schedule of Homeward loadings, three ships were to have lifted meat and general cargo for the Home -market at Gisborne between July 16 and 27. The loading dates were:—Wairangi, July 16-18; Ra-nigitiki, July 17-19; Port Dunedin, July 24-27. A fourth ship, -the Karamea, is to call at Gisborne on August 14.
