CRASH INTO A BRIDGE
FARMER’S FATAL INJURIES CAR HITS BUTTRESS (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Fatal injuries were suffered By a farmer, Roy Long, a married man, aged 34, last night when the motor vehicle 'he was driving struck the '“tress of the Te Hana (bridge, near Wellsford. The 'accident occurred as Mr. Long was travelling in tile direction oil Wellsford. The vehicle was a motor car converted into a trudk and, after striking the buttress, it hit the handrail a glancing blow, Mr. Leng suffered concussion and, after receiving attention, he was sent to <tbe Auckland Hospital by car, but lie died before reaching hospital.
