AUSTRALIAN BUSINESS SIR J. HUTCHISON’S .VIEWS (Per P ress Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Sir James Hutchison, editor of the Otago Daily Times, arrived (back with Lady Hutchison, from Australia, and will spend a few days in Wellington before going south. He is impressed with the future prospects of the Common wealth, particularly Queensland. He said he .had been told by a prominent Sydney business man that July and August would (be difficult months for Australia. but once they were over a lejrm of (increasing -prosperity was anticipated. There was an increase of 5 per cent in- the wool prices at Brisbane, said Sir James, and growers were looking forward to still higher prices. He said lie had l encountered no animosity towards New Zealand cn account of the import restriction policy, -but Australian business men generally were awai!tng the outcome •of the recent legislation in fjh-e Dominion with the 'greatest curiosity.
