FIVE-YEAR CRUISE

32FT. YACHT RETURNS LONDON. June 9.2. The 32ft. yacht Driac entered Portsmouth yesterday after completing a live-year cruise of 50.000 miles. The original crew was Mr. A. G. MacPherson, commodore of the Portsmouth Sailing Club, and Mr. William Long, who departed as skipper and returned as owner, Mr. MacPherson having given him the yacht. When at Durban a doctor ordered Mr. MacPhcrson to abandon sea life.

The route was by wtty of the West Indies, Mexico, Bermuda, Gibraltar, the Red Sea, Colombo, the East Indies. North Australia, Madagascar, and Durban, where a journalist replaced Mr. MacPherson for the homeward voyage.
