FIVE-HUNDRED TOURNEY (Her,t]il Correspondent.) The second cf a scries of flag flvehundred tournaments organisedJby the Makarakn ibranch of the New Zealand Labour Party was held in the Makaraka Hall recently. There'hvas an excellent attendance of card enthusiasts,- who spent a very pleasant evening. The prize-winners were: —Table with most flags: Mesdames Owen and White and Messrs. C. Dick and I. Cameron. Lady with most clips: Mrs. T. Jackson, 1; Mrs. Bishop, 2. Gentleman with most clips: Mr. ,T. Ingram, It Mr. L. Thomson, 2. Travelling envelope: Mrs. Marshall. ’ A dainty supper was served informally by the ladies.
