SHIP’S CARPENTER TRACEDY IN TURAKTNA (Per Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, tins day. Cc’orge Ostle, aged 55 years, a ship’s carpenter, suffered fatal injuries when he Jell through a hatch into a hold of the steamer Turakina, at Bluff yesterday morning. His injuries consisted of a fractured spine, pelvis, thigh and arm. He was admitted to the Southland Hospital, where he died last night.
