The Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association, at its last mdeting, agreed to endorse the opinion of its trade groups that any attempt to increase tl)e ; nuinoer of holidays in industry should be strehuously: opposed. Thje memorandum of the,trade group; on 'the subject will be sent to the New Zealand Manufacturers’ Federation as the oflicial view of the association.
