MORRINSVI LIVE SALE A medium yarding of fat sheep came forward at the Morrinsville stock sale on Friday. The offering consisted mostly of fat lambs. Competition was keen and a total clearance was effected at satisfactory prices. A light entry of cow beef sold under keen competition at prices l fully on a par with late rates. Polled. Angus breeding cows came forward in good order and sold at equal to late rates. Sheep.—Fat two-tooth wethers, to 24s Gd; black-faced two-tooth mutton, to 20s; prime heavy lambs, 20s 9d to 225; medium; fat lambs, 17s Gd to 19s; light, 14s 9d' to lGs Gd; good store lambs, 11s 9d. Store cattle.—Polled Angus cows, in calf, £4 10s to £4 15s; Polled Angus heifers, up to £5 Gs; Hereford cows, in cdlf, £3 10s; yearling Jersey heifers, j£3 Gs; yearling Jersey-cross heifers, £2 to £2i 15s; smaller, 25s to 355.
