INCREASE ADVOCATED FOREICiN NEWSPAPERS (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.m. RUGBY) July 1. The Empire Press Union, at its final session after 'hearing an address toy Sir Roderick Jones on news publicity abroad, passed a resolution urging on the Government the necessity for increased dissemination of British news and international news of British origin through the existing unofficial channels to the newspapers of foreign countries, as a corrective to the heavily subsidised foreign agencies.
