New Scenic Reserve
An (area of land on the right bank of the Wanganui River, above Atene, which has (for years been used as a picnic ground and a holiday resort, has 'been purchased by the Wanganui River Trust and Domain Board as a scenic reserve. The area of the land is 45 acres, and on it is growing a good deal of native bush. When In Napier be sure to call at the “Home of Good Eats”—that’s the “Trocadero”—-Hastings Street.*
