J. Stevens Photo. THE NEW KB TYPE OF STREAMLINED ENGINE recently constructed at the Hillside railway workshops, Dunedin. It is one of six of the type being built, to be used principally between Christchurch and Otira. These locomotives, in working order, weigh 145 tons, have a wheelbase of 62ft„ and an overall length of 70ft.
