ENGLISH FOOTBALL TEAM.
[PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Jan 29. At the meeting of the Wellington Football Association tonight a letter was received from the New Zealand Association stating that Jessop, if guaranteed £3,000, wou'd bring a team from England to Australia in 1901 and spend July in New Zealand. It was decided to rjply that £3,000 was a very large amount and that more information on the subject should be obtained. In the meantime the Weiington Association are prepared to guarteoupto£3oo.
