TOMORROW'S ENTERTAINMENT.

To-morrow night in the Opera House in connection with the visit of Lord Hawko's team of cricketers an entertainment will be given which should surpass all previous local efforts. Among the performers' are Mesdames Thompson, Hallahan (nee Miss Bessie Martin), Cadzow, Misses Perkins, Kettle, Easson, Taite, Ward, Stapleton, M. and E. Driscoll, Messrs Guhrie, Cadzow, Birkett, Coultman, Perry and Moss. The foregoing ladies and gentlemen are amongst the the foremost West Coast, Nelson and Wellington amateurs and will give the vocal and instrumental portion of the entertainment. The whole will con elude with Mr Fred Birkett's farcial comedy entitled "What Happened to Moke" in which Miss Jessie Matheson will support the character of Moke, Mrs Birkett of "Susan," Mr Birkett, Nichodemus Nobbs; Mr Guthrie, Macintosh Moke and Mr T Ryan, the Eglantine Rose; Leaf, The comedy is one of the most amusing possible to conceive, and in it* self is sufficient to draw a good aucience. As the seats are being rapidly booked, we recommend those who intend to go (to lose no time in seouring their seats.
