Nelson, Jan 28. The match against Lord Hawkes Team was continued to-day. Several showers
fell and play had to be stopped on three occasions. The wicket was in a sodden condition. The two not out'men of the previous day, Duncan and Bird, resumed batting and up to luncheon adjournment no brilliancy was displayed with the bat by Nelson.
