CooLGiRDiK, Jan 25 The great echeme for supplying the goldfielis with water is an accompHsed fact. Saturday was a red letter day. The previous day two special trains conveyed Sir John Forrest, Messrs Lyne, Eeid and a large number of visitors from Perth. The influx was so great that many had to sleep in the train or tents. Sir John and Lady Forrest's carriage was drawn by 24 schoolboys, headed by an imposing procession. The ceremony of turning the water at the various cemros was performed by Lady Forrest, the Mayorefses of Coolgardie, Ka'gooriie, Boulder City, and into the greao dam by Sir John ForresN The water is inw everwhere abundant in the townships tor 9d per hundred gallons instead of as previously 3=) 6d and upwards per hundred for condensed water.
