A cricket match was played on Victoria Park'on Saturday between the Grey Eleven and a Country team, resulting in a win for the former. The scores wo are unable to give in full, having in van Endeavored to get the score. We lam from another source that the runs were a? follows:—Grey Team—Robson 33, Adiin4, Pochin 0, Forton 0, Thompson 28 Gorton 22, Eemph 2, O'Brien (oot ouO 18, Whitehorn 5, Knell 22, Ollernshaw 7, extras 3 ; total 143. Country team—T. O'Brien 17, P. O'Brien 7, A. Feary 9, J. Malone 1, Finley 1, F. Daw 0, T. Smith 19, Williams 9, Todd 16, P. Muliins 0, J. Mulllins 1, extras 1; total 81. On Saturday afternoon the Cobden anp Recreation Ground Cricket Clubs met in combat for the second time, the game resulting in a win for the Recreation Club by seven wickets. I Cairney captained the Recreation team and 0. Goodall filled a similar office for Ccbden. Cairney won the toss and elected to bat, his side being all disposed of for a moderate total of 38—Sheldon (not out) 19, Mooneyll. Cobden who expected an easy win were all disposed of for 17 runs and following on made 86.
