CONDITION 6 OF TENDER FOR THE GARIB4LDI GOLD DREDGING COMPANY’S CLAIM, DREDGE AND ASSETS. IThe property offered for sale is , Special Claim on Moonlight Creek held under License No. 699 containing 94 acres and the Steam Backet Dredge as she now lies on the Claim ; all gear plant, tools, hut and stores now on the dredge or claim and all the assets of the Garibaldi Gold Dredging Company, Limited. 2. The Vendors are Messrs William Beattie, Mowat, Fea and Frederick Calvert, Trustees for Debenture Holders, and the Vendors will not enter into any guarantee as to condition of the dredge or as to the preservation of any of the machinery or plant nor as to the title to the claim. They will endeavour as far as possible to give possession to the purchaser of the assets of the Garibaldi Gold Dredging Company, Limited, but further than this they accept no responsibility. 3. On acceptance of a tender the purchaser shall be entitled to take possession jointly with the Vendors’ Caretaker for the purpose of protecting the property, but such possession shall not give any right or property to the premises sold until full payment of the purchase money. 4. A deposit of 5% must accompany each tender and the purchaser will be required to complete the purchase within one (I) month from acceptance of tender and to pay the balance of the purchase money in cash. The purchase shall be completed at the offices of Messrs Calvert and Brugh, Dowling Street, Dunedin. 5. The Vendors will pay all outgoings to 28th January after which date they must be borne by the purchaser. 6. On payment of the full purchase money the Vendors will execute a transfer of the Special Claim to the purchaser and such other assurance of the dredge and chattels as the purchaser may require. Such transfer and assurance to bo prepared at the purchaser’s expense, including the costs of perusal of the Vendors’ Solicitors. 7. The Vendors shall not be compelled to accept any tender. | Tenders are invited for the purchase of the Garibaldi Dredge and Claim situated in Moonlight Creek, Grey Valley, with all plant, machinery, gear and stores. The Claim is 94 acres, being Section 6, Block XV., Waiwhero Survey District, held under Special Claim License No. 699. The Dredge is furnished with 4ft buckets, 16 h.p, Garret Engine, and 20 h.p. Boiler and Robert’s Patent Winches, and is capable of dredging to depth of 30 feet, Tenders will be received by the undersigned up to noon of WEDNESDAY, the 28th JANUARY, and must be accompanied by cheque for 5% of amount of tender. The highest or any tender not necessarily accepted. Conditions of tender can be seen at the office of this paper, or on application to Calvert and Brugh, Solicitors, Dunedin.
