WEDDING.

Middleton-ilgie. A very pretty wedding was celebrated on Wednesday afternoon at the residence of Mr 0. Alg'e, Ngahere, wb the youngest daughter Miss Maggie F. Algie was married to Mr D. M. Middleton of Christchurch, well known on the Coast as Messrs Anderson and Co.’s representative The ceremony was performed by the Rev A. W. 0. Staoe of Brunnerton. The bride looked exquisite in a lovely dress of white merv, the trained skirr, having three circular frills, was profusely tucked, whilst the bodice was trimmed with white chifion and transparent yoke of white silk net and insertion. She also wore a wreath and veil the gilt of afnend, and carried a handsome shower bouquet the gift of the bridegroom. The bridesmaids Miss Elsie Bobmson, (Blackball), and Miss Ethel Kerr, (Westport), were attired in dainty dresses of white musilin, trimmed with frills and insertion, burnt straw hats with silk folds, and black yelvet. They also carried beautiful bouquets and wore gold cable bangles the gifts of tha bridegroom. The bridegroomwa* attended by Mr E. Denton as beat man, and Mr 0. Algie (jr) as groomsman. m v The guest* were entertained at afternoon at which jae usual toasts were proposed and;*W*mded. The newlymarried cohple reoejved many congratulatory telegrams during the afternoon. The bride’s travelling dress was of a soft pastel shade of blue, strapped with silk of the same colour. Hat en suite. Mr and Mrs Middleton left by the 5 p.m. train for Westport, whence they proceed to Wanganui.
