BRUNNER SCHOOL EXCURSION.

(OfR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) A meeting of representatives from the various school committees in Brunnerton was hold in the Council Chambers last evening to consider the question of the annual school excursion.

Present: W. Baxter and Meyers (Eo* kiri), Hill (Dobson), Cosgrove and McDonald (Convent), Taylor, Noble, Mylroi, and Watson, (Taylorville). , In the absence of Mr Alison, President, Mr Meyers was voted to the chair. The balance sheet shewing ihe receipts and expenditure for last excursion was read and accepted as satisfactory. It was decided that the annual excursion be held on Saturday, 7th February, and that a vote of the parents be taken as to which of the three following places they will select, viz Totara Fiat, Lake Brunner, or Hokitika. It was resolved that the Traffic Manager of railways bo written to, stating that the committees here have decided to hold their railway excursion on 7th of February. It was resolved that next meeting of joint committees be held in the Council ChamboiS; Brunner, on 22nd January.
