[PER PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT,] Received this day, at 9 12 a.m. New York, Deo 29, Advices‘from Colon state that sixteen hundred revolutionaries attacked the Government garrison of 630 at Honda but were repulsed. Hundreds were killed. The Venezuelans consider the presence of a strong American squadron in West Indian waters as significant in view of Germany’s intended demonstration. The Gorman railway authorities are refusing to transport troops unless they are guaranteed against loss. President Castro has stopped the traffic. G rmany protested i ;ainst this action.
