THE BOER WAR.

[per press association—copyright.] Received this day, at 9 4 a.m. London, Dec 29. Major Beresford’s constabulary raided Bothaville, capturing 36 Boers. Major Chapman dispersed Bannahauler's commando, near Fort Prospect, and rescued five British prisoners. The attack made on the convoy proceeding to Calvima by the Boers was repulsed with the loss of five killed and 20 wounded. In what is believed to be an inspired article, the Cologne Gazette strongly protests against the settlement of Boer refugees in German-South West Africa.
