SiNDER & SONS', EUCALYPTI EX TR \CT-—Under the distinguished patr om of His Majesty the King of Italy, as per cna munioation male by the Minister forfForeign Affairs, through the Consul-General or Italy»t Melbourne, March 14, 1878. Awarded diploma at the Amsterdam Exhibition, 1883Aoknowledged by Mdical Clinioa and Universities all over the Globe. There are imitations of Eucalypti Extract in the market, products of simple distillation, forming orude, resinous oils. In order that these crude oils may not be taken for our purBolatile Euoalypti Extract, which is recognise by the Medical Division of the Prussian Goerament to be of perfectly pure origin, as perntormation forwarded to us through the Consul at Melbourne, Maroh 2, 1878, we vtate:— It is proved by tests made by the Medica Clinics of the Universities of Bonn and Grief swald (Prussia), and reported to by Dr Schultz Professor of Pharmacology at Bonn, and Professor Dr Mossier, Director of the Medical Clihcs at Griefswald, that only products that are saturated with oxygen and freed of acids resinous and other substanoes adherent _to primary distillation, will develop the sftnative qualities proper to the plant. All orude oils or so-called Eucalypti Extracts, are to be classed according to the named authorit) is, among the turpentines, which are abandoned long since as an internal medicament. Tl ese orude oil, or so-called Eucalypti Extraots, are discernible: - 1. By their defloienoy in pungent odor lwhich our product, the only genuine Euoa ypti Extract, develops most freely through ts surplus oxygen.) 2. By their alcoholic thin, and mobile ap pearance, being reduced to specific density through the presence of acids. 3. By their taste, the result of contract ing tendency of resins and tanats. If these orude oils, or so-called Euoalypti Extracts, are applied by mistake in cases of oroup, bronchitis, dipthoria, internal inflammation, dysentry, etc., the consequences are most appalling. For safety's sake ask always or Sander and Sons' Euoalypti Extract.— Sandhurst, Victoria, Australia.—SANDEß & SONS.
