GREYMOUTH TROTTING CLUB.
A meeting of the committee of the above club was held last evening at tb# Albion Hotel. Present: Messrs Petrie (chair), Gieseking, Keddell, Eissenhardt, Perkins, M’Carthy, Steer, Kitchingbam, Smith, and Lutz. It was decided to let the school sports committee tlie use of Victoria Parle for the school sports at usual terms as agreed to by the ground committee. Messrs A. B. Speirs and James were agreed to, subject to tiro approval of tho Trotting Association. The following heats were drawn for the Juvenile Stakes
FIBSX HBAT. SECOND KBIT. Jennie Allerton Maori King Mawheraiti _ Pruna Totarine Bell Allerton Brown Eibbon BozongOorak The totalisator will be opened on each heat as also upon the final. It was resolved to pay out on two horses providing six or more horses start in one ownership.
It was decided to license bookmakers for the forthcoming meeting. Mr T. Lynch was unanimously elected a member of the club.
