MR. C. J. LINDBERG, a prominent land owner and cattle farmer, who liVes at Onowhcro.- near the Tehaku Railway Station in the Waikato, and whom Professor Raymond cured sufficiently to enable him to hear ordinary conversation, prior to the Professor’s departure for America in 1893, writes to Professor Raymond in 1901, and among other things, says “My hearing is Just about the same as when I saw you last, about eight years ago, and as I can still hear ordinary Conversation, I am perfectly satisfied; but I did not suppose you would ever visit New Zealand again. It is a pity that war in South Africa interfered with your business, but you might try your fortune there again, when the country is at peace. With kind regards from family, I am my dear Doctor Raymond, yours verj truly, C. J. Lindbcrg," Mr Lindberg’s testimonial, presented to Prof. Raymond in the city of Auckland (or rather, in the city of half-starved ignorant snobbery and mock gentility), in 1893, may be inspected; and to give even relief in a difficult and complicated case like the above, is certainly a marvel in aural therapetics. Diplomatised '‘ear specialists” and their servile imitators may sometimes be successful in removing an accumulation of wax from the ear, but while they practise on allopathic or homoepathic principles, they will never be able to cope with the more complex and difficult forms of aural disease. A barber can cure deafness by dislodging wax from the ear, and I challenge afly physican in the Empire to produce proof that he ever performed a cure of deafness resulting from any other cause Cutting, burning and blistering never dii cure deafness or any other malady. George H. Raymond, Botanical Practitioner of Medicine, Oculist, Aurist, etc., may be consulted at his rooms in Hospital Street, near Trinity Church, Greymouth. Wo know you will be greatly interested in this testimonial. It tells yon how you can make your sickly child robust and hearty. . Mrs. A. Lawrence, of Bowden, South Australia, sends us this picture of her child, with the following letter:
"My child, now four years old, was always delicate, and medicine did him no good. A friend told n;o to try I did so, and you would have been astonished to notice the prompt change. All my friends say it was simply wonderful. Only four bottles made my weak and sickly child strong am! healthy. I want to urge all mothers who have delicate children to try this t uio.’’ Ayer’s Tills are the host liver pills you can buy. They cure constipation, biliousness. Prepared by Hr. J. C. H. W. LLOYD desires to express his THANKS to'the inhabitants of the town and district for the very liberal support extended to him during the past three years while carrying on business in those premises next the Club Hotel. Finding that business was growing rapidly, larger premises had necessarily to be found, and he has secured, fitted up, and opened out in that centrally situated shop recently occupied by the MasseyHarris Co, in the very latest style, and trusts to be favored with a continuation of the public patronage as received in time, past by paying faithful attention to the needs of his patrons. H. W. LLOYD having a large establishment in Wellington to stock, as also his shop here, imports direct from the Home manufacturers, consequently buys to better advantage and, therefore, his customers are benefited more than if purchasing elsewhere from any other firm in the line.
